Our staircase opening was an awkward width so the standard gate wouldn't fit, and adding the 5.5 inch extension in grey solved it perfectly. The color matches the gate exactly and it's just as sturdy once mounted. Took maybe ten minutes to attach.

Ordered the 36” black extension to widen our landing gate and it clicked into the Babelio mount without any fiddling. The color match is spot-on, and the added height makes me feel way less nervous about my toddler leaning over the top.

The grey color blended seamlessly with my current gate setup, and the extension clicked into place without any wobble. My 3-year-old hasn't been able to budge it, which is exactly what I needed for the top of our stairs.
